With all my inspiration in front of me I'm ready to design! I've got so many idea's running though my head. I start to get them down on paper and sought them out. I know that i want to do a good selection of different styles, including a dressing gown, playsuit or teddy, matching bra and bottoms and incorporate the structure of a hoop skirt. I want the base of my designs to be commercial, then teamed up with over the top, theatrical accessories to make each and every outfit show stopping on the runway.
Throughout my designing I've looked at different types of apparel decoration, i want my designs to have delicate little details just like the beautiful little cupcakes in a high tea setting.
When designing I've tried to keep my theme strong though all my garments, so i can picture it coming down the runway and it all flows together like a story is being told.
During my design process I've been sourcing fabrics to see what is and isn't available to me. Seeing the different fabric's helps me refine what designs I will use and to develop those designs further.
After many hand drawings i come up with my final 6 outfits! I am so ecstatic with them! They represent my style and the design i aspire to be.

After doing a bit of research i headed out for an inspirational trip! I went to The Botanical Gardens, The Art Gallery, The Stage Shop and checked out some op shop's. Seeing the different colours of the flowers in The Botanical Gardens was very exciting and I could image having my photo shoot there too. I loved looking through all the old, vintage treasures at the op shops. All this inspiration was getting me pumped and i just wanted to get back to Tafe and get started!
