Now that it's all said and done, and had some well deserved sleep I'm ready to take on the world. I am aiming to relocate to Sydney in February next year, where I hopefully will be picked up by a Lingerie company. It would be a great Experience to work for established company and learn and learn as much as my brain will allow. I want to go to Europe and check out all the little boutiques then to America where I would love to work with Victoria Secret. In the years to come I would like to start up my own lingerie label and create Timeless Fantasy pieces with Classy style and perfect Fit.

So keep an eye out hopefully my label Lani de Beer will be hitting a shelf near you soon.

Love Lani xx

Me accepting my award from my lecture Helen
At the begining of the parade I was surprised, when I was announced the winner of the 2010 Lecturers Choice Award for high level achievement of learning outcomes, including independent learning, high level technical skill, innovation, time management and overall quality of workmanship in the field of fashion design. I was soooo excited and nervous. I won a trip to Melbourne for a 5 day pattern making course with Gerber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toiling Toiling Toiling
So much toiling! It was all trial and error when it came to getting the wright fit on my bra's and knickers. There was a great deal of learning involved but i just want to learn more! When it came to the construction of my metal hoop skirts it was alot of hard labour, but I'm extremely excited and please with my hard work and can't wait to see the garments in the real fabric
