To help me decide on a theme i did alot of forecasting research. I checked out WGSN for Europe Spring/Summer 2011 and 2012 to see what trends are coming in and out. I also checked out whats in stores now in Europe. I did this for lingerie and clothes. Sculpting your body and creating desirable shapes has come in and out of fashion though out history. This is a current trend that i really wanted to incorporate into my collection. This reminds me of the Victorian period, with there amazing hoop skirts to create unrealistic hips.
